Hello,
I can not install the library. Here are the steps to install:

- Download zip archive from Members Section
nextgrids_51111.zip   OK
- Unpack it into some folder (e.g C:\Components\NextSuite\ )
OK
- Open Delphi
OK
- Open Tools->Options->Library Path Delphi. Add next paths for 32bit Delphi:
- <Next Suite Folder>\Sources
- <Next Suite Folder>\Sources\Next Grid
OK
- Open next packages in following order:
- Packages\Delphi XE2\NxCommonRun_xe2 right click on package and chose compile, then right click install
OK    OK OK
- Repeat same for NxCommonDsgn_xe2  ( NxGridRun_xe2 and NxGridDsgn_xe2)

when compiling NxCommonDsgn_xe2:

[DCC Fatal Error] F2039 Could not create output file 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Bpl\NxCommonRun_xe2.bpl'
[DCC Fatal Error] NxCommonDsgn_xe2.dpk(34): E2202 Required package 'NxCommonRun_xe2' not found

The file (NxCommonRun_xe2.bpl) is in directory C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Bpl\ …
I really do not know what to do.
Please, please help me.

Hi,

I am working on it. Don't know why XE2 made this problems. I am now using XE2 as my developing IDE and have no problems.

I will be back to you after I do several testings.

I created a new user and everything is ok. Now I going to find it what is the difference...

Hi,

One user was having same problem and having next paths inside Library Path helped:


c:\program files (x86)\embarcadero\rad studio\9.0\lib\Win32\release;
C:\Users\Bojan Nikolic\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Imports;
c:\program files (x86)\embarcadero\rad studio\9.0\Imports;
C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Dcp;
c:\program files (x86)\embarcadero\rad studio\9.0\include;
C:\Components\Berg\Sources;
C:\Components\Berg\Sources\Next Grid;
C:\Components\Berg\Sources\Next Collection;
C:\Components\Berg\Sources\Next DBGrid;
C:\Components\Berg\Sources\Next Inspector;

I have the same problem. Adding the source paths to the Library Path didn't help.
Any other ideas? This is a real showstopper..!

I have used the nextcomps5_412.exe from March 23rd, 2012.
Is there a newer version available?

Hi,

One user have similar problem and solve it with adding next folders into Library Path:


C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Bpl
C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\9.0\Dcp

Maybe it can help.
