I'm totally new to Unicode and all those things... Now I#m running into trouble with our russian customers. These guys want to read their cyrillic letters - but they just see some weird lines.
Two simple questions:
1. How do I enable these cyrilic letters ?
2. How to enable Unicode at all in Berg Grid ?
Thanks for any hint,
Olaf

Hello,
Displaying unicode chars is enabled by default.
1) Editing is provided with using TNT Unicode Controls, very good controls set ( http://www.tntware.c...ntrols/unicode/ ). You need to install this components first.
2) Open NxSuite.inc file (located in Sources\ subfolder)
change line
into: (remove _ )
now you may run your app (without re-compiling packages) and you will be able to enter unicode in cells.
Best regards

NextGrid v4.1.7 update: Tnt unicode hints are supported too.
When {$DEFINE TNTUNICODE} , unicode chars will be displayed in hints (Cell hint, Header hint...)

I noticed that the link to the original site does not have the edit controls available as a download.
I did find the (freeware) version at : http://www.yunqa.de/...econtrols/index
I'm not sure if this is the latest version, because I couldn't find any real reference to them :
http://www.tmssoftwa...site/tmsuni.asp
Do your components work for this ('new') commercial variant as well ?

Hello Rond,
I didn't try commercial variant, but with old free all work fine.
I think that it should work with TMS version too, since all needed is to inherit TNxCustomEdit from TTntEdit.
Best regards
