i know this has been asked before (i searched) but i wanted to ask again..

if there are any plans to incorporate some kind of filtering for the nextgrid component.

i'm asking because i only have the delph 6 standard (personal edition) which does not have the DB features.

i utilize the twebbrowser for a lot of downloading code from web-page sources: html/script/xml and some of it i parse, etc. then i incorporate in ms access db and do various query/filtering. but that is becomming to much work for me. i'm at the next level- i want to incorporate everything inside one app, including filtering like excel and/or sql query/filtering. i would prefer the sql since i can just copy/paste from all my other access queries, not to mention i could probably create the queries inside ms access, debug them, and then port them into the dephi app. but like i said i don't have the DB ( OBDC/DAO ? ) featuers in d6 standard. and i don't know of any (freeware) component for DB capabilities. i'd be willing to pay for a good DB component that mimics closely, ms access. i the 2000 and 2003 versions.

thank you.

Hello,

I will add it for v6 (already having property Filter in Column). It require some code to be written from scratch.

Best regards
