AV in NxLayout6Run_d7.bpl. Maybe can dismiss it and keep going.

AV in wintypes.dll. Maybe can dismiss it and keep going.

AV in vcl70.bpl. When this happens you most likely have to restart Delphi.

Eventually, Delphi is unstable and has to be restarted or else everything you do will be lost due to crash or won't save -- both are annoying.

I question how well it's been tested given how frequently it happens.

What do you need from me to help make this more stable?

Hi,

Can you maybe tell me after which opearation this happens? Unfortunately it’s harder to debug design-time code, but I hope that I can fix this errors.

Does it mostly happens when Quick Properties side-window is open?

Thanks

I'll see if I can figure out what I'm doing when it happens. It's kind of random so it's hard to tell what is triggering it.

Edit: Seems to happen if I use the QuickProperties window like you suggested. It threw an AV, I closed the error and then not again. I was editing Inserting/Resizable/etc. on a SlideView enabled dbgrid.  I may have to close Delphi altogether to see the error again.
