We found a bug hope you can fix it.

You can easily reproduce it in BDE\Demo 2 project.

The list has 42 items.
Launch the project go to record 35, Ferrari Roberto and delete the row.
You will see that item that was on 42 disappears ( Guckenheimer ).
On each delete the last row will disappear too.
Rows appear correctly again only if you scroll up and back down the list.

Hope you can fix this soon.

Thanks!

In couple of days, sorry for delay.

Great.

I would also like to bring to your attention a very odd issue:

In NextDBGrid, if multiselect is active, if you use page down/page up or mouse wheel to scroll the list, sometimes, rows get selected without actually clicking on them.

We're using multiselect row option, for the user to delete more than 1 row. So with this behavior some rows accidentally get deleted.

Is there a setting to prevent this or is it a bug?

Thanks,

Chris

Sorry for all delays, back to this bug couple of times.

Can you tell me do you use buffered, or non buffered mode?

The issue happens with your demo, see first post.

Hi Chris,

Do you want to i send you v6 of NextDbGrid (public will be out in 7 days anyway). you only need to tell me your Delphi version to make packages. In v5 I will need more time to fix it since it behave differently in different technologies (BDE, CDS etc.) :( In v6 I have done it differently from start.

Thanks, but we want to use v5 in our project for now. We use delphi 7.

How about the second issue, the one with multiselect:

In NextDBGrid, if multiselect is active, if you use page down/page up or mouse wheel to scroll the list, sometimes, rows get selected without actually clicking on them.

We're using multiselect row option, for the user to delete more than 1 row. So with this behavior some rows accidentally get deleted.
