Can you please add an on changing row event for nextgrid that allows for the selected row to be changed to another or not depending on conditions in the event. This would be very helpful when using master detail grids and forcing the user to save the detail row before the master row can be changed etc

Hello Tony,

I didn't understand it completelly, can you please tell me more details.

Thank you,

Boki

What I am asking for is that there is a new event that fires before the row selection is changed to another row that either returns a true allowing the selected row to be changed or false not allowing the selected row to changed to anther row. It is similar to the oneditaccept event that allows or disallows the newly changed values just that this event allows or not allows the selected row to be changed to another row

I am very much interested in a similar event, and hope you will be able to find a few minutes to add this also. The event I am thinking of fires before the selection of a cell, and determines whether the user is allowed to select that particular cell; in the standard VCL TStringGrid this is done in OnSelectCell through the parameter CanSelect, but in TNextGrid the CanSelect parameter is missing.

TIA!
