Hi,

I have had a look at the slides tutorial (BergSoft - nextgrid slide style tutorial), watched the Design-time video tutorial (Design-time video tutorial)  and also searched the forums for a way to add an image to a Graphic column in NextGrid 6 Slides, but I could not find an answer.

The old method does not work and when I display my grid in Slides view, the image field is blank.

Hello Trevor,

I suggest checking out a project located in Demos sub-folder (Next Grid\Delphi XE6\Slides GridView).

There you can see how to connect photos to a cell.

Key property is Data of Cell:

MyGrid.Cell[x, y].Data := SomeTGraphicVariable;

Hi there,

How must I use Slides with VirtualGrid?

Is there a tutorial?

Regards,

Eduard.

Hi Eduard,

It should be the very same as for standard grid. Check this link:

http://www.bergsoft....slides_view.mp4

Difference is only with how you provide the data.

Thanks. I see it now. :)

I use dynamic columns and with report there are 20 columns. But with slides I use only a few, maybe 5.

Must i rewrite 'Virtual OnGetCell' or can this be the same?

Regards,

Eduard.
