Hi,

Could someone refer me to any source of information of how to create in Delphi menu items like shown on this image

I need to have both - menu item onClick handler as well as submenu.

Hello Boris,

Do you have maybe heard about Toolbar2000 component:
http://www.jrsoftware.org

It is very good for this situations, and it's free for non-commercial applications.

Thanks for quick reply Boki smile.gif ! I have downloaded and tried Toolbar2000. Looks like it does whatever I need. Now I have to dig into it deeper as in my application I have multilevel menu where user configures the number of levels and in each level there can be the items like the one I described - clickable with submenu.

Hello Boris,

I think that you may do this with Toolbar2000 too. I am not sure how, but try looking for Item.Options property or maybe need to add SubItem and then set DropDownCombo to True. I think that is easy, if you don't find it, I will build one small sample for you.

There is also a newsgroup for this component too.

Thanks for your readiness to help Boki smile.gif. Unless you are interested yourself - do not waste time on this. I've tried few things with Toolbar2000 and it looks pretty straight forward. The only part that I still need to look at is how to give this menu XP/Vista look and feel (transparency, etc.). Will check their forums, as they may contain the answer.
