Hello,

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I cannot find the answer - perhaps you can tell me.

I use a nxdbgrid to show a query. The last column is a boolean value, that is shown by a checkbox. Everything works fine. The user can edit the checkbox-column properly. But if I add a row to the query via the dbnavigator there is no checkbox shown. The corresponding field in the query has a default of 0 (not NULL ! ) when a new row is added. I guess I have to draw the checkboxes again after adding a row. But how?

Best regards

Bernard

Hello Boki,

sorry for my late reaction too. The ValueChecked is set as 1 and the ValueUnchecked is set as 0.

Best regards

Bernard

This sound similar to what I experienced, where the data provider was assigning an empty string to the text value for the column, resulting in the control not being drawn.

Put a break in TNxDBCheckBoxColumnDisplay.Paint to see why it's not drawing the control.

Good luck.
