I tried to install the new NextComponents from the exe file into my new XE2 (Win7/64 bit). The installer, however, does not accept the password that is shown in the download page.
Installation of nextcomponents_51111.exe

Hi,
Maybe you have enter a one trailing or leading space with password.

Strange, I am sure that I copied the pwd exactly. But now it is working. Anyway...

I have also problem with installation in XE2, and a very mysterious one... I can build and install the three first bpls, but when it comes to the 4th (NxGridDsgn_xe2) , I get the following error:
[DCC Fatal Error] NxGridReg.pas(17): F1026 File not found: 'NxClasses.dcu'I'm installing on a fresh system, Windows 7, 64-bit. I just assume there is a path mismatch somewhere, but i can't understand where (and, if so, why the first three builds correctly). Any ideas?

Hi Bosjo,
Did you install latest release?
Also, don't forget that you need to add 64bit path in Library Path.
Best regards

Yes, I installed the latest release. I added the path to the (Win32) dcu directory (I have not started to play around with 64 bits yet; one thing at a time...) to the library path, and then it worked. I suppose I thought that »if that was the problem, then neither of the first three packages would have compiled», but that was obviously incorrect... Thanks for the help, as always fast and accurate!
