Hi,

Me again. I have a TNxComboBoxColumn in a NextGrid, and wonder what the keyboard shortcut is to drop down the item list. I have tried 'spacebar' and 'Alt+ArrowDown' with no success. I suppose I could try a solution using the OnKeyPress event, but would still need how to drop down the control in code.

Any advice would be, as usual, appreciated.

Regards,
PhilW.

If you can send me Exe file with this component, maybe it help.

Hi, Boki,

Thanks for the reply - trying again with a ComboBox cell in a NextGrid, I can see that 'Alt+ArrowDown' does work to drop down the combo items, but ONLY when the cell is in edit mode and the drop-down arrow is visible.

I am after a way to drop down the combo items when the cell is selected, but not editing - that is, when an user has tabbed into the combo column cell.

I attach a screenshot of a NextGrid at this point - the cell is highlighted, but the drop-down arrow is not visible. How can the user drop down the item list at this case?

Thanks for any advice,
Regards,
PhilW.

Hello Phill,

Only solution is to first enter in Edit mode and then do Alt+DownArrow

Maybe something can be done manually in other events.
