Hi Boki,

I haven't looked at NextDBGrid 6 for almost a couple of years and decided to have another look at it now.  It seems to have improved quite a lot since I last tried it.

Is there any way to change the appearance of the Header like there was with NextGrid 5?  I couldn't find a way to change the font.  The styling seems very limited.

Thanks.

Regards,

Steve

Hello Steve,

There is a Font property under Header property of a Column.

Can you tell me which properties you also need from v5?

Hi Boki,

I must have an earlier version because I don't see any font property for the header.  I'll try downloading and installing the latest version.

v5 had the HeaderStyle property.  I used hsOffice2010 as it gave it a nice look.

Regards,

Steve

Hi,

Try also to set showing invisible properties in Object Inspector. This come to my mind now.

There is now Style property and StyleOptions property.

Hi Boki,

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "showing invisible properties in Object Inspector".

There is now Style property and StyleOptions property.

I've looked at these properties but can't get the desired style.  Please see this image which shows NextGrid 5 with the header style I'm after, compared with the NextDBGrid 6 header: http://myurl.com.au/95jh1

I tried inserting the image but the forum software wouldn't let me.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Boki,

I have the same question. Where are these headerstyles from v5 ?.:

Attached File  HeaderStyle.PNG   3.47KB   0 downloads

hsAuto,

hsFlatBorders

hsOffice2007

hsOffice2010

hsOldStyle

hsOutlook

hsVista

Or how can I change the headerstyle in v6 so that it looks like v5?

Regards,

Mark

Hi,

I didn't added most of these themes because most of them are old styled, for example Office2007 or Vista.

But you can still experiment a lot with Style and StyleOptions properties and get custom style, or classic style (if you turn off themes for example).

Hi Boki,

thx for answer.

Can you give me an example of how this works with the Custom Styles(Style and StyleOptions)?
Do I have to make a instantiated of TNxNativeGridPartStylePaint?

Regards

Mark
