Hello Falcom,

It may be that something is wrong with your installation. This errors happen when "uxtheme.h" file is not properly loaded.

Can you please try to install components on other machine. Maybe something is wrong with Windows Themes.

Best regards

It's an existing project, created with nextgrid, free-version 4.9, in Delphi 6.0.

Two days ago i bought version 4.9.5, i removed version 4.9 free and i installed the new one.

While compiling the project, with the new, updated component i got the reported error.

The next step was a fresh installation of delphi 2006 on windows vista.
Than i made a project-conversion within delphi 2006 an i tried to compile the application,
but it was'nt possible, because i got the same error.

Btw.: Sorry for my bad english.

I have news:

I start a new application with a grid-component, without any columns: No compiling-error, application runs.
I add a text-column (or any other column) without making property changes: Compiling-error, application doesn't run. mad.gif

Hello Falcon,

Your "nok" project and error jump.

It may be that there is some conflict with your free version and ordered version of NextGrid on your PC. If you can try to install clean version into some other PC this will be great.

Sorry, but this cant't be.
The installation of Delphi 2006 on Vista is clean i made it some hours ago.

The free version was installed under Delphi 6 within a VM.

Hello Falcon,

Try one more solution, place attached .h file into a \Sources sub-folder:

If you want to refund, please send me on mail or private message Share-it ref number of order and I will proceed with refund.

I apologize for this problem, but no one never have report it. One last try may be to you try to place NextInspector on form with some items and see if error jump again.

Best regards

The reason is: There is no folder named \Sources\Next Inspector\....

Hello Falcon,

Maybe NextInspector is not included in your purchased license.

Maybe you can test with placing NxEdit or some component from Next Editors palette. They are also using a themes.

No problems with single components.
