Hi everybody,
Excuse my poor english...
I am currently evaluating freeware version on my own pc with D7.
Really good components and very easy to learn, but in my job we are looking for a grid and dbgrid to work with d2007, and i have some questions.
is it possible to put the footer band on top? i did not see a property like for exemple FooterPosition {fpTop,fpBottom}
is there a possibility to group some columns on groupbox like devexpress do it?
Slide mode is very powerful
Thanks for your responses
Best regards

Hello Sir,
Thank you for good words. NextGrid and NextDBGrid for registered users fully support Delphi 2007.
Unfortunatelly, there is no such option for footer, but idea is nice I may say. I will think about it, and maybe it can find a way to be added.
Grouping is planned, but please note that this is big feature and require a lot of time and work to be completed. This feature is also requested by other users, and maybe is time to go to the this way.

Hi,
Thanks for your prompt response.
Good news for implement FooterPosition and Group
It will be fine for FooterPosition on Top will be something like Footer, Header and Grid...
Actually we use our own grid inherited from gxgrid (GExpert) and cxGrid or dxGrid (Developer Express) and we want standardize and find a grid easiest and
faster to implement. Your grid seem to be a good alternative.
So if you work hard to implement group and footer position you will be in a good position
Best regards

Hello Volfoni,
Footer position may be added relatively easy, but grouping will take a some time.
Thank you for interesting in NextGrid.
